Natural Minor

Natural minor keeps the clearest minor-key entry point while preserving the same letter-linked SingLet logic used elsewhere.

Natural Minor

The minor section now breaks into natural, harmonic, and melodic minor so each common classroom form can be compared against the same pronunciation columns.

Natural minor formula

W-H-W-W-H-W-W

Natural minor keeps its own stable interval pattern: whole, half, whole, whole, half, whole, whole. It shares a key signature with its relative major, but the tonic and interval shape give it a different musical center.

Reading The Standard 15 Minor Scales

The minor-scale section mirrors the major-scale section on purpose. Using the same columns makes it easier to compare how standard note names, fixed-do, movable-do, and SingLet behave when the tonic shifts into a minor framework. The natural minor spellings keep the examples readable while preserving the same letter-linked SingLet logic.

15 Minor Scales

This companion set uses the standard natural minor spellings, again organized through the circle of fifths as one center key, a clockwise sharp side, and an anticlockwise flat side.

1. Center

A minor sits at the center with no sharps and no flats.

5. Beyond The Standard 15 Keys

Natural minor does not need new key signatures to reach the outer edge of the standard system. G♯ minor, D♯ minor, and A♭ minor already sit where the notation becomes more spelling-sensitive, which makes them a useful doorway into the more demanding harmonic and melodic forms.

This section keeps the signatures standard: 5♯, 6♯, and 7♭. The point is not theoretical excess, but showing the minor keys where notation is already carrying more pressure.

These three keys show why SingLet helps even before the accidentals rise further. The notation is still standard, but the spellings are already at the edge of ordinary classroom comfort, especially when learners compare the sharp and flat sides directly.

Keeping one flat-side key beside two sharp-side keys also prevents the branch from feeling one-directional. SingLet stays useful on both sides because it preserves exact spelling identity instead of smoothing the edge keys into easier but less informative substitutes.
